Shear Decadence at AFW

As the fun filled whirlwind known as Austin Fashion Week comes to an end, I was reflecting on the participation of our members. We have a diverse and talented team here at Etsy Austin, and one fine example is Merritt Gade. Merritt teamed up with Salon Intuitions to put together a cupcake and vodka filled event at the Triangle on August 15th. The event featured Merritt's line of handmade jewelry and bridal accessories.

With sweets from Sugar Tooth Bakery, and drinks sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka, there were refreshments galore for all the attendees. The salon was transformed into a mini party bar, courtesy of the Salon Intuitions staff.

Our own Samantha from Nepenthe's Bathtime and Maggie from Assorted Musings were prize winners from the drawings held at the end of the show.

The friendly salon staff had a great time in the photo booth by Booth 66... maybe too much fun!!!
